This award recognises a key individual in the UK early-stage investment ecosystem that is taking a leadership role in breaking down barriers for access to equity investment for women founders and/or founders from under-represented groups.
The judges are looking for an individual who is achieving impact by bringing new innovative approaches, developing good practice, or new policy measures that are aimed at increasing the opportunities for entrepreneurs in key target groups to access investment.
The award celebrates an individual who is seeking to be a catalyst for change in relation to diversity in investment targeted at those receiving investment and/or in relation to the investment community. The nominee can be from the public or private sector, directly investing, or supporting the mobilisation of investing, or can be an intermediary, or taking a co-ordination role.
We encourage applications for this award from individuals across the UK who are personally making a difference to diversity in investment and hope to reveal fantastic stories of success that we can shout about.
